The Challenge: Replacing a Complex, Costly iPaaS Integration, Fast

As Bill.com’s customer base rapidly expanded, its commercially available iPaaS integration began to show its limits. What once worked for a smaller footprint had become cumbersome, expensive, and increasingly difficult to maintain, especially as customers demanded richer AP, AR, payments, and treasury workflows inside NetSuite.

To continue scaling, Bill.com needed a fully native SuiteApp—one that could replicate (and eventually surpass) their legacy integration, support thousands of customers, and meet Oracle NetSuite’s rigorous certification requirements. And they needed to do it in under six months.

Bill.com partnered with ExtendApps to reimagine the integration from the ground up, consolidate years of functionality into an efficient, modern SuiteApp, and ensure a seamless migration path for 3,000+ existing NetSuite customers.
